Corsair Spec-01 Case Mod

I've modded my Corsair SPEC 01, I've taken the hard drive bay out, and the two hard drives that I have, I sticked them with velcro in the optical drive bay.
Now I think the build looks a lot better, tell me what you think.

Sorry for crappy picture quality.

It's held in by screws from the bottom, in the front, and against the back of the motherboard tray.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

Those are rivets, so unless you have a specialized tool for removing them, I don’t believe you can take the optical drive out as easily as the HDD cage.

A drill bit and some elbow grease will remove rivets. Putting them back in though, well, one does not simply put rivets back into place.

For some reason I didn't realize that, but there's still the issue that it'll hurt the case structurally, and he'd be removing the rivets from the top and front panel so he'd need a rivet gun to get them back together. It's just not practical to completely remove the 5.25" drive bays.

Hi, did you put the HDD bay into the ODD bay to hold the drives, and if so how did you fit the HDD bay into the ODD? I assume you cut it down and am wondering how you managed to fix it in place if you had to cut the screw holes off, im thinking of modding similarly to you and removing the HDD bay and cutting holes into the ODD bay covers to add a small fan for some more positive pressure and to have some air flowing over the HDDs
