Define R5 Questions

I am currently in the midst of building a pc and have a few questions about this case that will be the selling point for me (also very minor things about case, i know). I wanted to know how many fans can the Fan controller on the define R5 use and what type of fans cab controller use or can they all be used?

Hi! I have a Define R4, which is slightly smaller and doesn't support 280 mm radiators but it's pretty much identical in every other aspect. The fan controller is as simple as it gets: it has three 3-pin headers that connect to your fans (and it's compatible with 4-pin fans too!). Two of those will be taken up by the preinstalled fans (front and rear, but note that you'll have to plug them in yourself), and you have one to spare for a third fan. I suggest you only plug a case fan there, because I prefer having the motherboard control the speed at which the CPU cooler spins. I also keep the case fans on very low (3.3V) because they're quieter and to be honest my system runs frosty even without turning them up to 5 or 12 V.
