Today I booted up my pc with Linux on it, zorion os which is a Ubuntu based os to be exact, to find a but load of software uodates. So I thought, shure, but after the wait of all of the updates downloading and installing I rebooted only to get a blank screen.i tryd rebooting after the blank screen a few times trying to get into the grub menu, but after 5 trys it said no boot device. I'm not shure what happened, if anyone knows what happened can you tell me so it doesn't happen again.

Make sure all of your BIOS boot settings are correct.  It sounds like the system is not finding the OS, I believe the same error comes up when you try to boot from a non-bootable USB.

Look into this if you can get into grub. https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Boot-Repair

I did get into it once and updated the bootloader and one other thing don't remember

I just finished reinstalling zorion so it's back to normal. For now
