Hey guys,

So I recently built a new pc, but I still get below 60FPS in some parts of Arma 3 running at Very High Settings.. Anyone have an idea why?
Current PC Specs:

CPU: i7-6800K

GPU: Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 1080

RAM: 16GB (4x4) DDR4

Game running on an SSD

Cheers

I have a 980ti and on servers it can struggle to hit 40 with medium ish settings. On single player it doesnt have this problem... So i guess its just arma 3 servers are just really demanding

I am playing single player.. There also seems to be no fps difference when switching from high and very high settings..

The GPU isn't the limit in Arma, it's the CPU bottleneck that's limiting your frames.

CPU AMD Ryzen 5 3600x | GPU GIGABYTE GTX 1070ti WINDFORCE | MOBO ASUS Prime X570-P | MEMORY XPG Spectrix 2x8GB 3200MHz  | PSU OCZ Zx 850W | CASE NZXT H440

Yeah I understand that.. Still better than the 20fps I was getting with a FX-8350 and GTX 770 lol

Hmm, I'm looking at a bunch of post so that you can manually allocate CPU cores, hopefully that will help when I test it..

theres no way a 6800k is a bottleneck

It's not because the CPU is bad, it's the shitty optimization
