does the 5th gen i5 fit in a lga 1151 socket

I am going to be replacing my motherboard and I cant find the specs for my 5th gen i5 4460 quad core. will it fit into a lga 1151 socket and work? The motherboard I am upgrading to is a asus Z170-k.

No. the 5th Gen requires LGA 1150. It will NOT work in 1151. You will need a H/Z87 or 97 motherboard. Z170 boards will not work.

You don't need to be a troll, think he made it pretty clear he didn't know what socket type his CPU was (although in this day and age I can't imagine why he couldn't google it.)
