Low FPS

Recently I bought new graphic card Gainward 1060, because of high FPS in Games. But the FPS were low (30-60), even when I played with lowest settings.

Please help!!!

Did you install the Drivers?

Download GPU-z and compare the GPU info&sensors to the Specs.

Which games? Games like Arma 3 needs a strong cpu and not a strong GPU.

Yeah I installed the Drivers. And I compared it and I found out, that the graphic card's memory base clock is locked at 2002MHz out of 4004 MHz, but I don't know how to change it.

GPU-Z doesn't pay attention to double bandwith (DDR 3 1600 only clocks at 800 etc.) your memory is fine.

Fire up some game, then look at the utilisation. (should be 99%)

1. It's thermal throtteling. (what speed report the sensors?)

What is "low FPS"?

 

If by meaning your not going over a certain level, make sure you dont have vsync enabled.

Please, expand farther on the issue, could you use a program such as msi afterburner to see what the bottleneck might be? also, what do you call low fps? how much do you get?
