Okay, so I my brother was about to play steam and it wouldn't open, so I checked ThisPC, and my hard drive was missing. I have an SSD so that wasn't a problem. I just checked my SATA connection and it was connected, so I am curious why the hard drive isn't working. Also, I've only had my computer for a month, so the chance that my hard drive broke is very slim to none. Please help me I have some important files on that thing.

Actually, your hard drive is more likely to die within the first three months of use than the rest of the warranty period. The QC process isn't perfect. Anyhoo, find your HDD in the Device manager and check properties there and also the disk management. Look for it in BIOS too. The manufacturer's diagnostic tool may help. Seatoos for Seagate / Samsung and Data Lifeguard for WD. Third party options exist too, but the ones by the 1st parties tend to be most reliable.

Hey there Crazie_Flash :)

What are the brand and the model of the HDD? Could you give us more info as the guys requested such as if the drive is actually spinning a receiving power? Are there any clicking or other abnormal sounds coming from it? Is the drive detected in the BIOS, Device Manager or Disk Management

I'd try the drive on other SATA ports with other SATA and Power cables and possibly test the drive on other systems again with other cables and check again if it's visible in those places.

Post back the results and we can take it from there. :)
