If you use stuff that needs CUDA

It's more of an editing rig.... so he would benefit more from an i7 and an RX 480/GTX 1060 than from an i5 with a GTX 1070...

@JoshuaCrawley Since it's an editing rig , I think that a 5820K would be more suitable than a 6700 (K) or an i5 6600(K)

CPU with a better IPC, it'll beat the 8350 and better PSU.

I'd get the Xeon E3 1230 V5. Will require a different chipset though. You can also get the OS from here and save some money.

Assuming that's the Skylake variant. And Reddit's very hit or miss. On the user to decide if they want to or not.

Never the V300.

the v300 is fixed now, you could just as easily go with a sp 550 or something similar if you still dont trust it.
