Is 2gb Enough VRAM?

Go to solution Solved by Arty,

If you have it......Try it..... Duh'

you may need to lower some settings but should be fine.

Hey guys,

i recently got a EVGA gtx 960 ftw as a present. One problem though, it's only a 2gb card. I'm looking to play need for speed most wanted 2012, forza 6, forza horizon 3, mine craft, and maybe just a small bit of crisis 3, just a bit though. Is 2gb enough for these games, and if not, what should I do, I don't want to tell the guy that I sold the card.

It should be just fine. The GPU itself isn't really fast enough to utilize any more ram. Even with the 4 gig version you wouldn't be getting much more difference in performance. Especially for the games you play, you should be fine, as they don't go too hard on your system.
