Hi guys.

I have samsung 23 full hd, tn panel, couple of years, and i wanna get upgrade.

I'm wondering should i pick 27 or 29 inch? I mean i watch a lot of movies, and play a lot of games. Only problem is

cause i play consoles on my monitor. So.. if i play ps4 on ultrawide will i have black bars on screen? With black bars it's same like i'm playing on 23 inch and then i got nothing.

I know i can strech screen but..

Now i looked for some 27 inch monitors, but i prefer 21:9 over 16:9..

29 inch is colossal, so I would personally go with 27inch it's large enough.

16:9 is widescreen

21:9 is ultrawide

if you only watch movies and play console games,

then with 16:9 you'll have black bars on top and bottom for some movies

and with 21:9 you'll have black bars on the right and the left for other movies and all console games

I'd get a 16:9 screen because it'll be larger in height and the picture will be bigger most of the times unless it's native 21:9 content like some movies sometime are
