Need help with my RAM situation

I'm using 2X4 GB or RAM (8GB) and it's not enough for 
my Photoshop needs
what is better?
if I add more of the same (2X4) to(16GB)
or can I add 2X8GB and everything will work fine (24GB)
Or do I have to crap the current 2X4 and just get
4X8GB for (32GB)

Refer to your Mobo manual, In every Ram channel should be the same amout of memory. (otherwise you will get wered results)

Most mobos have 2 Ram channels, so 4 + 8 GB in every cannel should be fine.

you would have to have all of the same count memory size for say if you have 32 gbs it would have to be 2x16 GB, 4x8 GB and so on so in your case you would have to either get more 4 gb sticks or trash it and go for a different size memory count to stick
