Get the A10-6800k with 1886 8gb memory kit and ditch the GPU if you intend to use it for 720p games and some 1080p on old titles.

You shouldn't get an APU if you're planning on buying a dGPU at the same time.

Amd 6600k apu at 4.1ghz

Asus F2A85-v pro mobo

Corsair Gs600 ps

8gb ram 1333 2 sticks 4gb each. They came out of my Lenovo desktop.

1tb seagate barracuda hd

Corsair C70 case.

I'm pretty new to PC gaming I've only played WoW and LoL before and just wanting to get into the newer games. My budget is around $300. I had a lower budget at the time of the apu purchase or I would have went with a FX cpu. Also if anyone has any thoughts on what I should get to cool my cpu that would be greatly appreciated. I'm wanted to quiet down the system as right now its running like a jet. 5 fans at top speeds :-(

Get faster ram 1866 min. The games you play really don't need a dGPU anymore. Later if you really need one then you can always grab one, but you need the ram more right now. Also for your noise problem try a noctua cooler since they are almost always quiet.

i9 25.6 GHz with NeuronThreading, 256gb 6000 MHz RAM, GTX 990 OC 3024MHz 12gb, Skeletal X99 motherboard, 1 Petabyte SSD, Fractal Design Humaniod R1 Case, Herbivore 10,000W PSU, Noctua NF16 LP Derma Cooler.
