Geforce experience has it's own comparison between required and given specs.

Maybe it's not recognising something.

Reinstall it.

Don't use GeForce Experience to optimize your games honestly. It always makes incredibly dumb choices and tends to activate demanding settings on lower hardware (like all the Gimpworks features) and sometimes, it doesn't use the maximum settings when the hardware can easily handle them. Tweak things yourself in-game, see what's hard on your rig and what you can crank up easily.

CPU : i7 8700k @5GHz, GPU : ASUS GTX 1080 Ti STRIX, RAM : 2x8Go 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance, MB : ASUS Prime Z370-A, PSU : CM V850, Case :  NZXT S340, CPU Cooler : NZXT Kraken x62, Monitor : Acer Predator XB271HU 27" 1440p 165Hz, OS : Windows 10 Home 64 bits

No but that's the point. Nvidia wants to make it run bad on your PC so then you go and buy a GTX 1080 to have no lag.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

How to setup MSI Afterburner OSD | How to make your AMD Radeon GPU more efficient with Radeon Chill | (Probably) Why LMG Merch shipping to the EU is expensive

Oneplus 6 (Early 2023 to present) | HP Envy 15" x360 R7 5700U (Mid 2021 to present) | Steam Deck (Late 2022 to present)

Mid 2023 AlTech Desktop Refresh - AMD R7 5800X (Mid 2023), XFX Radeon RX 6700XT MBA (Mid 2021), MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon (Early 2018), 32GB DDR4-3200 (16GB x2) (Mid 2022

I don't know if you're kidding or not but it might be intentional on Nvidia's part, it wouldn't surprise me at all !

BTW, GTX 1080 is outdated and obsolete now, didn't you hear about the Titan X ??

I reinstalled the latest one, but still i can see the same thing,
This really gives bad settings no matter what, it shows i should run evolve 1280x720 with all low setting but that does not make sense.

I was just trying Geforce Experience, honestly never played any game from geforce Optimized setting, but i was really shocked that how dumb result it shows.

Play the game as it says you should and tell us what framerate you get.

Its a tricky point, it means we should not upgrade our GPU drivers after every New GPU launch.

Yes i tried their weird Optimized Settings, on 1920x1080 display LCD,
Nvidia Geforce Experience Settings: All setting low, 720p, 40-50FPs but it was so blurrry ( maybe because of downscale )
My Custom Settings: i maxed out everything @1080p and got 35-40 sometimes 50+fps on open areas.

Yous dont have optimal reguirements that they recommend (nvidia). No bug, it just thinks you dont have good enough pc for what they think is optimal gameplay in that game. It doesnt make the game unplayable for yous tough, just configure the settings yourself and find out what you can play with.

GPU - Asus Strix 1080 8gb

The C2D E6600 is 2.4Ghz so that is a moot point, and I would have expected optimal settings to not be available with a processor that old.

your CPU is shit, too much of a miss match to optimize. Remember Nvidia uses setting obtained from real users to optimizes things and your's are way out of whack...

The only time I've ever used GeForce experience was with my laptop for Overwatch.  It worked, and I'm getting 60 FPS at 1080p.  Other then that, I've never used it. (I only used it that time to test it out)

Currently focusing on my video game collection.

It doesn't matter what you play games on, just play good games you enjoy.

LOL Geforce Experience told me to Lower all settings and with 720p.
But with my custom settings, im maxed out @1080p. Their software is really broken.
