Why 300 W exactly :P?

If ATX:

Bulk unit, doesn't come with screws and cable

300W just because thats all the origional system has. (Its a pre-built where I work)

Whats a good 300W PSU thats not to expensive? I don't need it to be modular or anything fancy. Just needs to be reliable

Most 300W PSUs in prebuilt systems are of the ATX form factor but can you clarify that? Some are BTX, etc.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

ATX will do just fine

The Antec VP450 is cheap and can provide more wattage than the original manufacturer had originally. No harm in getting a higher wattage PSU, especially seeing how there is a cutoff on good quality units past the low-end of 450W.
