Need a good gaming mouse

Roboslash1

Hi,

I need some advice for which mice I should buy as I am looking for one for my laptop. I prefer optical sensors.

I have chosen some options that I think are decent.

- Corsair scimitar RGB

- Logitech G502 Spectum

Desktop: Processor - Intel Core i7 5820K   Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-X99-UD3   RAM - Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB 2400MHz DDR4   GPU - Gigabyte GeForce 980 Ti G1 Gaming 6GB Case - Fractal Design R4 Window   Storage - x1 WD Green 1TB, x1 WD Green 2TB, x1 Samsung 850EVO 120GB, x1 Kingston SSDNow 120GB  PSU - Cooler Master B700 (700W)   Displays - x1 Dell E2214H, x2 Dell 1908FP-BLK   Cooling - Noctua NH-D14 SE2011

Keyboard - Razer Blackwidow Expert 2014   Mouse - Razer Deathaddder 2013   Speakers - Logitech Z906 5.1 OS - Windows 10 Pro   Headphones - Steelseries 9H, Sennheiser Momentum

Personally I love anything steel series, mine has the build quality of a tank. I use it with my laptop and I travel a lot. I've been using it for about 4 years and it has only suffered a little amount of damage. Albeit I abuse it a lot (poor thing) anyways check out the Steel Series Rival, also what kind of grip do you usually have on your mouse? Palm or claw?

Out of those brands I'd say the Corsair is the better option. I like the Steelseries Rival series if you want to look into a 300 or 700 model.

But the ergonomics and what type of games you'll be playing/activities doing should factor into your decision.

I actually vary between both of them. My deathadder 2013 is a bit small for my hands to wholly use a palm grip. Im kind of using some hybrid grip though leaning more towards claw.

I'll go to my local electronics shop and look at the mice they have on display and try them for myself. I guess that's where I will find my answer in terms of ergonomics.

That's a good idea, when I found the steel series mouse I use I actually went to Best Buy and just felt around on the mice to see what I thought was comfortable then shopped online for the better deal.

Both the Deathadder and the G502 are tried and tested mice which are loved many (dont know about the Corsair one). My recommendation would be to try find one you can get a feel of, if you dont have any brick and mortar stores around try ordering both from Amazon and seeing which you like best then use the 14 day no questions asked return (in the EU atleast).

Something from Zowie, EC2-A or FK2. Both have flawless sensors.

I just wrote this. I'm very happy with my choice although if I hadn't noticed the Secret I was thinking about the FK2.
