Motherboard tray

spwath

Im looking for a motherboard tray, preferably aluminum, and preferably silver colored.

Needs to be ATX, doesnt need to have IO sheild and PCI slots, but it can.

I want it to be around 30-50$.

Cant really seem to find anything great.

What is a motherboard tray?

Probably something I can easily cut but not sure I could keep it within budget.

The peice of metal the motherboard mounts on, with screw holes for standoffs:

Here is a picture of a clearr one:

What part of the world are you in? What thickness do you need?  Any surface coating?

I imagine ATX hole positions are available online...

Im in upstate NY. Yes, positions are avalible online.  Thickness doesnt really matter, as long as one can screw standoffs into it. Would be nice as well to have the tray screw into the existing standoffs in my G5 case, but I could just rip thoes standoffs out and attach the motherboard tray by other means.

I noticed you said silver color.  Would a bead blasted but otherwise raw finish be ok or would you want paint or clear coat on it?

I've got a ton of .080 aluminum that has oxidized but would clean up passably.

When I get home tonight I'll look for dimensions and figure out how much it would cost to cut, blast and ship.

take any offers to PM, please.

Absolutely!  Don't want to step on any toes.

I'll be cutting it as a personal item and not through work.
