LOW fps in CSGO

I play on 4:3 streched res and get like 130-180 fps at 144hz

cpu- amd a8 6600k gpu- sapp r9 380x

I know that CSGO is very CPU heavy and my cpu is older but im not sure if thats the problem

i know that fps may seem good to people who dont actually play csgo but i should be getting alot more especially at 4:3

This all doesn't seem the end of the world, but is vsync off?

On a 8350 with 780ti. I get around 150-200 on 16 player ffa dust2 server. 4x aa and af high everything except shaders on low. With 4:3 about 250. I rather go to a intel cpu just because single threaded performance is more important

Don't go with a FX 8350 or amd at all (at this time when zen isn't released) go with a i5 4690(k)

I had this problem with my G-Sync monitor. I went into the Nvidia Control Panel and unchecked Enable G-Sync (Disabled it) restarted my PC and never showed up again. haha hope this solved your problem.
