980 ti SLI annoyances

Sup peeps,

I have a rig with a 980 ti HOF and a recently added 980 ti classified, with asic quality of 72.7 and 79.8 respectively. Should I put the 'better' card in the 1st slot or it doesnt matter much?

Cheers

It doesn't matter at all, since in SLI the GPUS run at the speed of the lowest one.

so OC both cards

then set the card that hits the higher clock speed to the same speed as the lower one.

I would decide placement based on cooling.

I thought you could manually overclock each GPU based upon their potential... For example, my HOF can do 1450/8000 whilst the Classy so far seems stable at 1530/8000...

So you think my classy's potential is compromised because of the other card being a poor clocker?

Cool, I'll see what the temps are like and place accordingly. Cheers :)
