Tomorrow I'm going to build my new computer and since I bought the Fractal design define S I won't be able to install a cd reader. I know that I have to install the motherboard drivers through a USB instead. But my question is if it's enough to put the LAN driver on the USB and download the rest through the internet? Or is it better to install all drivers through the USB?

Thanks

Yeah you can do just the LAN driver, but if you're installing windows 10 (which you should be) it is very likely that windows will install all your drivers for you.

After installing windows check taht all USB ports, internet, and audio works, and if it does then you don't need to install anything else :)

Yea I'll use windows 10, no reason for anything else.. Didn't know that windows installed all drivers for me. One more reason to go w10 ;) .

Thanks

Does Windows 8 or 8.1 do this as well?

No, fairly sure it doesn't.

It just comes with a few basic drivers like windows 7 did, and most of the time you need to download the motherboard drivers from the website or use the disk.
