Raven cases?

I personally own a rv02, which I love and it air cools VERY well. I see so little of the raven cases in builds and videos and such. Why is this? Do people just dont like the look, price, or the motherboard orientation? Just wondering what you all think about it I guess.

The 90 degree motherboard rotation isn't for everyone. I like the look. I've worked in an RV02 before, and it does pose some challenges during the build but nothing too major. The drive mounting behind the motherboard was a feature I found to be really neat. But what I think is the major decision point in this case is the pricing. There are other, more popular options in this price bracket; people who chose the RV02 all did so because something about this specific chassis appealed to them.

Edit: Just realized that I was talking about the RV03 but I guess the same applies.

Very good point on the price point. Ive noticed they have gone up in price. I got mine for about 165ish now they are up to 205$ again. 

 

There isn't much water cooling support in the RV01 & 02, so this is a big turn off for many people... But other than that I have to say I kinda like the case as well...

Also true. Ive seen some water cooling builds but it requires a smaller gpu if you run a trip or quad rad on the bottom. so it is limiting but it can be done. haha.

I wasn't saying it couldn't be done I was stating that there aren't as many options for watercooling as many other cases at their price point.

Totally understand what you are saying. just messing with ya. haha

 

Never heard of their cases until now. They look pretty nice. Not quite my style though.

Thats funny. Another thing they don't do much advertising about their products from what I see.

They don't do much advertising themselves but a lot of tech sites pick up their products and do write ups from time to time. The recent reveal of the RV05 chassis being a case in point.

Indeed it does. The RV04 to me isn't a raven because it doesn't have that signature 90 degree motherboard rotation.
