Red Alert!

APC is issuing a recall on some of their Surge Protectors which might (again might) start a fire.

Side Story on the matter: http://edition.cnn.com/2013/10/03/us/surge-protectors-recalled/index.html?hpt=us_c2

So if you have an APC surge protector of the following model number you need to send it back and get a new one (yeay!)

8 Series are the fat one above and the 7 Series are the longer skinner ones.

Affected Model Numbers

8 Series : NET8, NET8N, NET7T-C, PER8T, PER8TR, PER8TR-CN, PER8TVR, PER8XTV, PRF8T2, PRF8TT, PRO8,  PRO8T2, PRO8T2C, PRO8T2MP12, PRO8T2MP12B

Addendum: Mods this probably goes better in the Power Supply forum section but seeing its a recall I think its best here to catch everyone's eye, if for a bit of time.
