4GB minimum for VRAM. 2GB is NOT enough

To be honest,i played GTA 5 not so long ago on a GTX 660 and was able to get to high settings while passing the 2gb by a couple mb and still get 40-50fps,you COULD get away with 2gb but the experience will be shitty and it will very soon fade away and 4gb will be a standard

4GB is already standard. Rise of the Tomb Raider uses all 4GB on my LAPTOP GPU. It uses 10GB on a Titan X

Yeah but in some cases you could quote "Get away" with 2gb of VRAM but its still cant compare to the experience that 4gb or even more offers

lel,i still remember the good old golden days when 1024x768 was like 5k today and can only be ran with SLI Voodoo 5 cards...the good old days when Quake was the evolution of pc gaming and the most known and best game at the time...
