About 1080 ti and titan x'p'

So the performance boost is normally close 50% in the titanium but now it's only 20 based on tflops so because that small amount of performance increase in don't think they will release 1080ti cuz it makes no sense to have 1080ti same performance and cost less (last gen story)

No, the Pascal Titan X is a huge leap forward. 50-60% increase in performance over the previous Titan X and carries more CUDA cores. It's a monster.

I mean from 1080 to titan and I know 3.5k CUDA_Cores amazing

But a 1080 Ti is still highly unlikely

Yes, 20-30% increase in performance from a 1080. That's a big jump.

I agree, if it had HBM2 then maybe. But I think we'll see a higher level Titan P still Q1 2017 to answer Vega. Not a 1080ti. Could be wrong though.

It's decent, but not that amazing. There was a significantly bigger difference between the Titan and 680, and even between the real Titan X and the 980 the difference was a bit bigger (30% plus change, rather than 20-30%).

We're working off speculation here. If you take CUDA cores into account and compare to the 1060, 1070, and 1080 the Titan X scores 24k in Firestrike. That's no joke. But we'll have to wait until the 2nd to see how it really performs.

I'm not saying it's bad but you know the pricing and what performance it will have is just gonna be strange either same performance and less price or like 10% worse and cost 800 it's just not likely

But it's a Tian, why are we talking about price? All it has to do is do what a Titan does. And a Titan is not meant to purely be used for gaming, hence why discussing price should include the cards that cost thousands of dollars above it.

Titans are not much good beyond gaming since Nvidia nerfed the FP64 performance.
