I voted "No, avoid at all costs" but my real answer is No + part 2 of the first option. The risk of it not working, no warranty, and no refund makes the extra 50 worth it for peace of mind IMO

but the board could be bricked, plus i ran into my fair share of bricked motherboards before and craigslist has a negative connotation of scammers. A new board at B&HPhotoVideo costs $145 with free shipping and no sales tax.

dude $50 an hour is basically the salary of a professional software engineer at apple computer... way to overpriced. computer technicians make next to nothing nowadays.

yea... that's what the seller is asking for... i dont know how he could think that $50/hr is "fair" when i build computers for people i charge the labor rate of an entry level computer technician which is $14/hr in my area.
