Help! I'm not sure which cables to plug into where for my GTX 960 4 GB FTW edition

I'm a first builder and I'm confused as to which cables go where for my GTX 960, I've got an 8 pin that goes into the card itself and it splits into two 6 pins, any idea where to go from there?

Plug in the ones from your power supply. They include an adapter for people who can't use their own.

Ok, so which one? Because there is a port with 8 pins on the card and the cable that is connected to the power supply has 2 with 6 pins

6+2 = 8 so there is your 8

The ones coming off your PSU are 6+2 pin connectors, you combine the 6 and 2 pin connector to make a single 8 pin connector.

yah its just extra, its fine to do whatever with it.

Ok, so I'll just put the spare that Numidia gave me into the box it came in. Now, just to make sure, is there anything else I need to set up for my graphics card? I obviously have it clicked into the slot. And I have it into the PSU, anything else?

Yea, its either for a second card or if your card requires 2 power connectors.

For cable management I just might add a twist tie to keep them together, unless it could cause a problem with heat? Or if there's a better alternative?

Nope, that's great. I actually used a small piece of electrical tape, but twist ties work fine and are easier to take off in the future

Ok! Sweet thank you so much. I'll be posting more questions because I'm kinda on my own today and I'm a first builder, so I'm just taking it step by step
