Good adblocker for Android?

Currently my father owns a Nexus 7 running stock android 4.3?, we share the Tablet using it for games and what not, but currently with most if not all the free games from the playstore come with some incredibly annoying and frequent adverts that are starting to piss my father off quite a bit, any recommendations?

The entire point of the add's it to give the creater some kind revenue....

But no, as far as free games go, I don't think there is a way to block those adds.

It's hard to get descent adblockers on android now, especially on 4.3. Adaway used to be amazing but it doesn't work anymore. Currently I use Adfree, it's not perfect but it works somewhat. Remember: you need to have root access.

Wonderful, I'm all for Ads don't get me wrong, but they are a little obtrusive especially after lets say a round is complete on a game. 

 

The ads are embedded into the game, it simply wouldnt work.

The ads are probably grabbed from the Internet. You could try turning off WiFi every time you play games...Unless you play online with others.

I just turn off wifi when I play games on my nexus 7. Then I still have service and internet on my phone. But I never play online so i do not need then internet on my tablet when playing.

I tend to dib and dab between FB, Skype and whatever game I'm playing at the time.

First of all I'll say that I don't support the use of Adblock software on any device, a lot of people need the revenue from those to put food on the table. Without Rooting, you won't be able to block in-app adds, and even then, it's getting even harder.

 

I'd discourage adblock on android the most, since most app dev's for free apps don't get money any other way.
