CX500 any good?

Yes probably (Maybe a 750W though if you're planning to upgrade later) , but if you're buying it new I've heard that other similar PSUs are of better quality than the CX series.

cx is decent, but go with something better if you can spare money on it.

A CX550M would be fine, CX500 is a bit hard to recommend for a high-end system.

CX will run it but not ideal for that build. For $20 more, you can get the CX550M over at Amazon I think, and that I think is a better alternative.
