How long will thermal compound take to set in? I've just applied some new thermal compound, it's Arctic Silver 5 paste. My temps are surprisingly worse than my old thermal compound, which was the stock paste that came with my Corsiar H100i. I ran an AIDA64 benchmark at 3.5Ghz (i7 3770k) and it hit 95c within 2 minutes. I have to render videos for my YouTube channel and I'm concerned that I won't be able to do that with these new temps.....

AS5 takes approx 200 hours to cure but you only see a difference of approx 5C usually, I would recommend to try and remount the cooler and see if they improve. Also for the H100i it's not uncommon for it to lack mounting pressure, you might want to look into the washer mod to help with that.

Yeah as @RGProductions said, remount it. Under NO circumstance should a 3770k even TOUCH 95c even with a stock intel cooler, let alone an H100i. Just remount it.

CPU: INTEL Core i7 4790k @ 4.7Ghz - Cooling: NZXT Kraken X61 - Mobo: Gigabyte Z97X SLI - RAM: 16GB G.Skill Ares 2400mhz - GPU: AMD Sapphire Nitro R9 Fury 4G - Case: Phanteks P350X - PSU: EVGA 750GQ - Storage: WD Black 1TB - Fans: 2x Noctua NF-P14s (Push) / 2x Corsair AF140 (Pull) / 3x Corsair AF120 (Exhaust) - Keyboard: Corsair K70 Cherry MX Red - Mouse: Razer Deathadder Chroma

Bit of an AMD fan I suppose. I don't bias my replies to anything however, I just prefer AMD and their products. Buy whatever the H*CK you want.

If you have been using the cooler and never had an issue except changing TIM, then it must be a contact issue... like what's been said above, re-seating the pump on top of the CPU would typically get it fixed.

Checking the pump's rpm is also worth checking just to be sure, like what Cracklingice suggested. It should be around 2200rpm range.
