So my router?

All of a sudden I was watching YouTube when my Internet goes out. It says I am connected but there is no Internet access. It's been a long time since I've had to mess with a router and this one is different from the ones I've seen in the past its a sagecom 5260 or something and all the lights that should be on are on. But just no Internet.

There was about 12 hours ago but the Internet has been on until about 29 minutes ago

I'm assuming your posting from your mobile data then?

 

Unplug the power cable from your modem and router. Should be the bottom most cable or small round black one. Wait 30 seconds then plug it back in.

Did you run the troubleshooter? (right click and troubleshoot)

On your computer, go to the bottom-right-hand side of the taskbar where you can check network connectivity. You should be able to right-click then "troubleshoot" and have Windows determine the cause of the problem for you.
