Which part to upgrade?

This is a system i build for my friend about 2 years ago, i gave him constnant upgrade by giving him my old parts. so here are his current specs

MONITOR: Samsung SA350(1080p resolution)

CPU: AMD Phenom ii x4 965 BE Stock speed

COOLER: Stock

CASE: Coolermaster 690 ii adv USB2 version

MOBO: ASUS m5a78l

ram: 8GB (4gb Ballistix sports ram, 4gb visiontek ram)

PSU: Some diablotek 600w psu

drives: OCZ Vertex 4

Seagate 1Tb Sata2

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate Pirated

GPU: XFX Radeon Hd 5770 1GB case

ok so which part should i upgrade for him? He has 90 dollars right now so he is going to be getting a OCZ ZT 550w Modular PSU in a few weeks. I honestly think he should get a decent cpu cooler but he doesnt think its neccessary.

we play games like SC2, BF3, and he pirates a bunch of games like Assassins creed 3

hm. tough to say. I would go for either a cpu cooler and overclock your cpu or save up for a better gpu

My personal rig - 4790k 4.8Ghz, Asus Z97 Pro (wi-fi ac), Corsair Dominator Plat 4x8GB, SLI GTX 1080 TI FE, Samsung 850 Evo 1TB, Crucial MX100 512GB, EVGA G3 1000W, and cooled by a hardline liquid cooling loop.

and i would get a CM hyper 212 evo for the cooler and save the rest for a future upgrade

Upgrade the cooler - to the Hyper Evo - then you can overclock a bit, then upgrade the GPU to something a bit better.

Also - don't pirate - it basically cheats everyone - spend then $100 bucks and get the proper OS license.
