Yeah trying to explain that to others and thx

actually try a xeon if u arent ocing will be a higher binned chip for the price of a i5

it will have 4 cores and 8 threads

So I'm going to playgames for the most part on 1080p with a gtx 1070 and I'm planing to keep this pc without changing anything in 3 years so I rly want a Cpu that will hold(not Bottlenecking new cards) for a long time butt I don't want crazy things like i7 extreme or some shit

And thx if you decide to help

i7-6700 if not ocing , i7-6700k if u are.

Just because dx12 and newer games require more threads. (thus i5 kind of bottleneck higher end gpus)

Button the i7 6700k meybe

*says he doesn't want something crazy

*quotes a guy with 2,500 subs who says that the i5 bottlenecks a 1070, ignoring the guys with 50k+ who tested their 1070 review units on it and had no complaints

*suggests that he should use a 6700K instead, something many would consider crazy given his i7 comment

...why'd you even ask for help if you'd already made up your mind?

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

Well first thing is that this is true and second I said the i7 extreme that cost like a pc and a i7 6700k is not crazy
