I am running an i5-4590 and a r9 390. Would these bottleneck each other? I am noticing a lot of frame rate drops while playing GTA V and Arkham City among other games that I play. They ususally cap out at around 60 but at certain times it drops all the way to around 45. I am sure I have the latest drivers, could there be anything that is stunting my performance? During a run, maybe keep an eye on the temps, see if anything is throttling.

It shouldn't be bottlenecking. What are temperatures?

If GPU usage is above 90% while gaming you're golden
