Hey guys this is my first post on this forum and I just have a quick question that I wanted to ask. Tomorrow I will format my Windows and I am wondering how can I install all the latest drivers for my PC. I also want to update drivers for my monitor and I really don't know how to do that as well. I recently became interested in tech stuff and my friends don't know how to do this kinda stuff so I'm asking you guys which probably know a lot :P Thanks for all the answers I really do appreciate them.

PC SPECS:

ASUS STRIX GTX 970 OC

INTEL CORE I5 4690K QUAD CORE

MSI Z97 GAMING 5

8 GB OF RAM

Two ways that I know to install latest drivers:

1. Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Device Manager

When your there, right click a device, and click update driver software

2. Go on the manufacturers website....

Alright. So can I download the drivers put them on a USB drive and after I re-install windows just update the drivers from USB ?

Go to the manufacturers website and get the latest (or latest beta if the latest is old) and install all the actual drivers but avoid the other software unless you know you want it.

Is updating drivers through device manager good or is is it better to go on manufacturers website and get it from there ?

Download the SATA, Audio, LAN(if you're using WiFi, download the WiFi one. If you're using Ethernet, download the standard one), and the chipset driver. For the VGA driver, this is dependent on if you're using integrated graphics or discrete graphics. You may also want to download the USB 3.0 driver which is under "Other Drivers."
