managed it by stealing my brothers cx430 while he's on holiday :P

Don't think he'll be too pleased.

nice one that is quite mental on air. a very low core voltage as well  ;). what was it set to in the bios? i like

It only allows to increase frequency 50 by 50 MHz... so it was fast to reach the limit...

Results :P:

[spoiler=1250 MHz (dumping the GT 620 :P)]

1350_zps5ccc471e.png

*At 1350 MHz it throws artifacts... so 1300 MHz is going to be the good one.

FP Perf. stock: 175 GFLOPS

FP Perf. 1300 MHz: 210 GFLOPS

CB15 OpenGL stock: 17,5 FPS

CB 15 OpenGL 1300 MHz: 20,07 FPS

Meh.

lol. faster than my gt610 still :P

Actual voltage is ~1.53v

thats not even that bad. it would be a 6ghz+ chip in dice or ln2.

I think it would, I can get 5.8ghz to set but it basically lasts all of 3 seconds before rebooting

That's the plan, I'm first going to test it in my Extreme4 and also test the 760K I have in the Extreme6 to make sure it's not the board that's toast.

At least this CPU saw 5.8 Jiggahertz :)

Unfortunately the CPU I get back will be a 4ghz and bsod chip :P

well at least with that type of bandwidth and frequency , you can feel the rhythm of the earth.

you and jumpy need to be careful not to open up any more black holes.

Well if the chip I get back is lame I'm just going to sell it off in a bundle with the board :)

Aww :|

Time for a new RIP in a month or so.I basically half destroyed it so i might as well finish the job.I just don't think the h220-x will manage not to throttle it at 1.60+volts.

Vrm cooling is excellent on this particular board though.I got lucky :D

Some guy is getting pissed at me because I got moved into the novice league during the 'Rookie' rumble. He wants me removed as I'm no longer a rookie :(

I bet he wouldn't be making a fuss about it if I wasn't 1st as he's 2nd.

my 760k isn't too bad though :)

you probably should have stopped. that chip could have been a 7ghz chip :(

New chip seems to be a decent one based on the low voltage characteristics it has :)

My new NAS machine came today too :) I can get it to 3ghz with the pll overclocking stuff

£19 bargain + free monitor ;)

4.4GHz 4.5 is a thing at 1.25v

4.8 works at stock with llc :)
