I don't think you'll catch me :P

I just need to remove the stock NB cooler for my active one, system stability was improved greatly last time I used it with my Pentium K's (its not installed atm because I'm using its mounting screws to ghetto a fan to my geforce 6200-meccano screws are just a tad too big).

Edit: found the problem, 125W on the 5V rail, the CPU consumes 111.63W

So old CPU's require the 5V rail, new ones require a lot more stepping down from 12 volts? No wonder why the VRM get so hot.

Well it reduces the amperage of the electricity needed I imagine so I'd expect it balances out.

Right now boot its a single 1 GB stick. I've got crucial stuff to mess with too when the Source 210 arrives for my mom's system, I know I got that to 2000MHz at CL8 1.9v and that was on an AMD system too.

i would be careful above 1.85v they can get pretty messed up over 1.85v.

DDR3 has problems going over 1.85V? I thought they'd it'd be able to hit at least 2V safely like DDR2.

DDR3 has problems going over 1.85V? I thought they'd be able to hit at least 2V safely like DDR2.

ddr2 is good for 2.2v or 2.4v if you have a fan on it. 1.7v is the max 24/7 and 1.85v is the max i would go to on your average ram. gskill pi and various other ram with good chips and pcbs are ok with 1.9v, but they still won't last forever at that voltage.
