It wouldn't do anything...at most it would mark your mouse till you got a baby wipe or something and wiped it off.

Worst case scenario, your mouse will smell of soap.

 

 

Perhaps if you are using something like a dish washing soap it might affect a painted finish over a very long time, but I'd say your hand would be doing most of the damage.
