I'm planning my first ever custom pc with a budget of $2500 CAD. The gtx 970 will be swapped with the 1060 once it is released. I am aiming for an overkill 1080p experience with dual monitors because I always have tons of programs open and that extra space is necessary for me. I will be overclocking the cpu to 4 - 4.3ghz and the gpu aswell. (This is a complete new white and black themed setup with all the peripherals included)

The pc will be mostly used for all types games such as FPS, MMORPG, RTS and others alongside school work.

The build:

For that price range, you should be able to get a 1070. Other than that, looks good.

If you'd like to get an M.2 drive (950 Pro) it would be much faster not that it matters. Have considered ultrawide panels rather than two monitors?

Edit: I wouldn't bother getting the 970 at this point. If you can spring $400 USD I would go with either a 980 Ti or 1070. Always buy the best you can afford. It's generally not recommended to buy a mid-tier card only to buy a new mid-tier next gen.
