RX 480 or wait

I'm ordering my PC parts to make a editing/gaming rig and i really want to either get a RX 480 or GTX 1060 but do you think it would be a good idea to wait for the gtx 1060 and see how it compares to the RX 480 before i buy a GPU?

I would say so, I assume you are waiting for aftermarket 480s anyway

Wait for both. If there will be big difference between the prices of the two. You can get rx 480 or if not, get gtx 1060. I am too waiting for one to buy.

Wait for the AIB models of the RX 480 to launch, the reference card is a mess.

I think you should wait for aftermarket RX 480's, also remember to get the 8GB version because that would be your best shot. If you really want to see you can wait 2 more weeks for the reviews!

Hard to guess but you might start seeing models next week or 2 weeks tops. They're likely to be first available in stores at the same time as the 1060

By the (so 14th ealiest til the 17th due to shipping and such) 17th seems to be when stores will have stock, the 1060 comes out the 19th

They're rumored to be out by the end of the month.

The source is a Lithuania retailer, I don't know about other countries but if it has some releases in europe by the 14th then it will be in the US by that time

It says the release date is the 14th and that they will have it by the 16th-17th in their warehouse (it's always a couple days late in europe as I'm sure you know)
