650W PSU at max. EVGA G2/GS 650W is good.

What exactly do you need a 6950X for...? What would a 5960X not do for you? Also, that system would be fine on a 650W, get an EVGA G2 or Corsair RMi.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Its going to be a DAW System. What would you recommend, an EVGA or Corsair power supply?

A DAW system could be run on a 6700k (heck it could be run on an i3) without issues. A 6950X is stupid overkill.

I can't just recommend one brand over the other. Neither actually makes any of their PSUs so I can't just be like "All Corsair PSUs are better than EVGA PSUs" - I do it based on unit. The RMi is ever so marginally better than the G2 but is probably quieter of the two.
