If I get a job I will be scrapping everything here and going balls to the walls all out, but since getting a job is so hard over here I doubt that will happen any time soon and I need a good cheepish rig that I can play DX11 games

But can it run Crysis?

Why 680 and not the new AMD cards?

I like the color scheme of Noctua fans. Deal with it. Forget about the bad memories of the past.

Forget about the bad memories of the past, take the good ones along with you through the present, and look forwards to the good things that will come in the future.

Nice build, I'd only say, get a newer graphics card with more/faster vram.

10/10. Would bang.

In all seriousness, I think it's a great build. Consider a 770 in place of that 680 (depending on the price). It's the same card but with a faster memory bus and a bit more performance :)

with the gtx 770 i would need to spend more  and i would like to keep the cost to a minimum

also i will be selling my laptop for about £500 and using the money from that to help pay for it

I kinda figured that would be the case. I say go for it then. It looks solid to me. The 680 is still a strong performer and PhysX is always a plus :P

If you're not in a hurry, wait for the new AMD cards and plan later.
