try another text formating, in the forum darktheme "nightmode" its invisible ;)

the i5 shouldnt be a bottlenet for a gtx1080

what is your budget to upgrade the rig???

i hope you already have a ssd otherwise this would be a good investment too

What you mean nightmode?

I have around 400-600 euros and would want to spend the least but still getting upgrades that are worth, for instance I was thinking on upgrading the whole pc but going for the rx 480, but maybe the 1070 is better for 144hz?

An i7-6700k bottlenecks a 1080. You need to have an overclocked i7 at least.

Don't touch the rest of the components?

not sure if the i5 will bottleneck. maybe find a used i7 to replace the i5 if it does.

The CPU shouldn't be much of an issue, it should do just fine on the majority of games.

Get a new GPU, something like a GTX 1070 should be most suitable.

Later this year/next year you could start to consider a CPU upgrade if you find it hitting %100 usage on games.
