What have you learned from the PC community?

Ive been a part of the Pc community for about 6 years now and have learned a few things from it.

 

The most recent discovery is that EVERYONE has a masters in EVERY field.

 

Debating politics? Best believe Johnny 12 year old has a masters in political science.

Debating tech? Bobby the barber also has a masters in engineering.

 

What wonderful things have you learned from or about our majestic PC community?

I dropped out of Computer Science and I currently work in Market Research (IT products) and it taught me way more than I learned in school

I think I say the phrase "wow, what a dick" about people in this community about three times a day

What have I learned?

 

That all peasants needed to be reminded that consoles are for the weak, PC's are for the GODS!

When speculating, feel free to be as light in your judgments as possible. But once you're asked for a recommendation, be as honest as you can and use the facts in context. Listening to the OP's needs is important.

 

And all these "debate" threads are honestly just shitpost central. I like them when I feel like throwing wild speculationg at the world.

Learned how to build my first PC.

Learned more about graphics card, and how it fluctuate rapidly every year.

Learned how everyone wants AMD to do better than nVidia so they can finally stop overcharging on their GPU's.

Everyone has their 2cents to throw in, regardless if you're right, they always seem to be more right than your right.

How everyone still promotes the RX 480 after knowingly that it can damage your PCI-e slot, but who cares right?

How everyone undermine last year tech, and it's always about the next generation tech. i3 still works great, and gtx 750 can still run most games at 1080P, just saying.

when i found the computer community i probably found the largest concentration of salt anywhere on the planet.

i learned pretty much everything i know about pc's from you guys though, so there's that.
