Civ V

Buying Civ V and all that DLC while it's on that insane sale but the game seems pretty intimidating and I've never played it before. Any tips?

Watch 5 hours of guides and you'll feel very confident. Seriously.

just play you won't understand it at first but before you know it you have dumped hundreds of hours into it. also alot people have civ v so chance are you have friends who you can play with and can probably show you how to play.

Error 404 humor not found.

Depends on the settings you use. The avg. multiplayer game consists of simultaneous turns, where everyone takes their turns at the same time. Makes a good ping crucial to war, as well as fast button clicking and shortcuts mastered. Other than that, victories are usually the same as single player.

So people have multiple games going on at once, I better watch a couple tutorials.

Not multiple games. Imagine it like monopoly, only now everyone goes at the same time.

Also, Tundra and snow tiles are bad, don't settle there unless you have to. Try to get a new luxury resource in every new city you found, and always have a unit guarding your workers or settler.
