Customizing android lock screen notifications

I hope this is the right section.  Where to posts a out Android OS or customization in general belong? 

I want to have my notifications on the lock screen in white on black. Currently they are something like black on grey. 

I don't know of how to take Screenshots yet so I can't tell you what it looks like right now. (please tell me how) 

What are the possibilities for changing this?  Is this simply to much work for a beginner just for some looks?

I'm not sure, but custom launcher might do that. For some notifs its also depending on app itself. Like Facebook.
