SMART self test in Ubuntu Failed?

So I wanted to test to see how well my 3 year old Seagate/Samsung Spinpoint Momentus was doing and it says that it failed its SMART test that I ran on it so I wasnt sure what that meant. It fails the read test.

You have read errors, this is bad, get a new drive.

Its gonna work fine until you need that chunk of your drive and then it will slow down your system in iowait and screw everything up.

BUY A NEW DRIVE.

the SMART tests shows you that the HDD shows signs of slow but sure death - time to ugrade

I'm seeing both read and writes errors

It's not my main drive I just wanted to check to see if it has some life left in it for when I build my PC and use it as a secondary boot drive for Debian or Ubuntu

Gotcha well maybe not use it for a dual boot drive for Ubuntu or Debian.
