How do I test overclocking?

I have a GT 730, GDDR5 Version (Bite me).

It's at a core clock of +260 and a memory clock of +125.

I was using SteamVR Survey.

Download MSI Afterburner and Kombuster or EVGA Precision X and OC Scanner and use that to test it.

its a stress test for the GPU based on Furmark, the standard in stress testing of video cards.

Kombuster just stress tests the card. If your PC shuts down or you have a graphics card error during the stress test you know your card isnt stable on that overclock

Surprisingly, my new base clock appears to be stable @ 1191 MHz

a lot of people recommend programs like Valley Benchmark or Heaven Benchmark to confirm GPU overclocks. Just leave it on loop (rather than specifically benchmarking) and you can often find out quite quickly if you're having issues or not.

Thanks. I might be able to push it higher, but fan noise becomes an issue.

Furmark is like the hardest your GPU will ever work and it's an unrealistic load for it. Something like Unigine Valley or Heaven would be better.
