hi , i just build a new pfsense router i get it for pretty cheap 30$ complete working pc
but , the motherboard didnt have a wifi slot , and the pci on motherboard i use for a intel lan card
so do you have a solution of best bang for the buck for a new/refurb/used ap ?

i prefered for a 2.4ghz and 5 ghz , but 2.4ghz will work fine

i have only $50 bucks

currently im using linksys e2500 in bridge mode , do you thing that's better ?

That'll definitely work for now. But the lowest costing AP that supports 2.4 and 5 GHz is Ubiquiti's UAP-AC-Lite which usually goes for around $75 to $90. But if 2.4 GHz works as well you can find their first generation APs on amazon and ebay just search for "Ubiquiti UAP" and you should find the original UAP and UAP LR which are both pretty cheap right now. The only real difference is the theoretical range difference between the two models.

But with $50 you might just want to think about saving up for now and try buying one of the newer models just so you can have better performance because the newer models have more antennas and you will have both of wifi bands to use.
