Hey guys! I have a Electro voice RE-20 cardioid microphone that I use for my livestream. There is a Blue Yeti sitting on my shelf collecting dust. Is there a way to hook it up and having it far away from me that just picks up background noise and then use software like Adobe Audition to remove the background noise. I have used Audition to use adaptive noise reduction but it seems inaccurate sometimes. Any help would be nice :D

its possible in post production yeah

you just need something to record the second mic, which most recording programs can do

problem is that its not the same mic

and if you have it far behind you it will likely pick up different background noise than your primary mic does

so idk how well that would work, might make your voice sound weird

you can try it, i think bandicam or obs or some other program has the option to record two audio streams to separate wav files

so yeah, look for a program that can do that
