The New Razer Blade 2016

Hey Guys,

I was looking for a gaming laptop that I can both game on and do some school work on. Do you think The New Razer Blade is a good choice? If you have any other recommendations for laptops that are good for school and gaming, please let me know. Thank you all in advanced !

I want to play games at med-high settings but I also want it to have a good battery life for school work. I am going to be taking this thing around so I would like it to be easy to take around

well the razer blade is a solid option, but again it does thermal throttle but the 970m is a powerfull GPU, basically no other Small 14inch laptop has that power, i strongly suggest you check the Eurocom Website for a laptop that suites your needs

MSI GS60 Ghost Pro or Asus RoG GL502 Strix

Avoir the Blade - gaming on it is terrible as it runs extremely hot (95*C) and VERY loud (60dB) and as a result overheats and throttles. Also - all that heat causes premature component failure.

3-4 hours - as with almost every gaming laptop. If you want battery life - ThinkPad T460S or X260 - 17 hours on those

The Alienware ones have stupidly good battery life for a gaming laptop.
