Mechanical Gaming Keyboard + Gaming Mouse

c00face

It was rated that the Death Adder was one of the best gaming mouse to own. It was $60, and I canceled my order due to it being too high priced. I'm looking for a more budget mechanical keyboard + gaming mouse. Anyone have any ideas?

Do you care much about switches? Do you need a cherry or would you be fine with Kailh, gateron or some other clone?

Don't know the difference, don't know what a switch is, so I guess the answer is I don't really care.

This one has Fancy red LEDs that can be useful when your room is dark but mostly are just for looks. It has switches that seem to be from Kailh and it is tenkeyless which means no number pad. This is my suggestion

For a mouse I have to tell you I never experienced the new sensor logitech uses but this doesnt brake the bank and is supposed to have a pretty good sensor. I can not personally confirm. Just heard this. Both of these are not to expensive so I hope your goal is fulfilled.

Kinda similar to Cherry MX Blues, but knockoff.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DBJTZU2/ref=s9_simh_gw_g147_i2_r?ie=UTF8&fpl=fresh&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=&pf_rd_r=S2FXZ49DC7S5QXXDMTRP&pf_rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=6aad23bd-3035-4a40-b691-0eefb1a18396&pf_rd_i=desktop

For a mouse, just get a G300s or a G303, as those are budget gaming mouses from a reputable brand.

I just bought the steelseries rival, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FAN4M3S/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 for $60.00

Is the G303 a better mouse?

It depends, as it's kinda a different shape.

G303 and the rival have different mouse shapes, so it may feel different in your hand.

I saw a Zowie EC2-A for the same price as the Steelseries Rival, I bought that instead. Do you know if that's any good? I heard a lot of good reviews about it.

I never really tried other mouses outside the reputable brands(Steelseriers, Corsair, Logitech, Razer), so i can't really comment about that.

Since you bought the Rival from Amazon, you could just try it out and see if fits your liking, otherwise return it.

You can always go to a PC store(Fry's, Best Buy, Microcenter) and check out mouses as well, they'll probably some mouses on display.

About Mice:

above all this: How much can I spend?

  1. Is it comfy? -No--> get a different one
  2. How is the sensor performing? -Weird stuttering or jittering issues? get a different one
